Lately (the last two days), my work computer was installing the auto Windows updates and at some point in the process when the computer should be shutting down, the screen turns black but the computer is still on and working. It does this for about 15 minutes or so. Could this be a part of the window's update or our network software (Desktop Autority) or a possible issue?
ReplyDeleteIt seems as though your computer may have went into stnadby mode either right before, or right after the update. Since it was happening for more than one day, then it is most likely the same MS update, and that it was just having issues installing. Check online to see what updates your computer still needs by clicking Start > All Programs > Windows Update (located at the top). Also try uninstalling the updates starting from the first day this was happening. You can do this by going to add/remove programs located in control panel under the start menu.
